Arkas Algerie was first established in Algiers in 2004 to provide agency services for Arkas Line. In order to reach to ports outside the Mediterranean and the Black Sea region, the company expanded the range of services it provides to its customers by taking on the representation for Hapag-Lloyd in 2005 and for Hamburg Süd in 2010. Arkas Algerie has a total of four offices in Algiers, Annaba, Bejaia and Oran.
